Antimacasser, anyone?

Or perhaps a doily?

I understand that white lace is all the thing this summer, but surely Sienna Miller could do it better than this. And with better accessories. And hair.

Now that it's raining more than ever

And on Wimbledon no less.

It's my fault - I've been telling people ever since I arrived in London that the weather was far, far better than I'd anticipated, and that people everywhere think they have the worst weather (along with the worst traffic), and it can't possibly be true for eveywhere. However ...

I'm not a big fan of a wet June, and this is unpredictable wet - serious downpours blowing through unpredictably and soaking everything possible. It's not fun.

We all look the same

It doesn't seem to matter where we are.

The current look in London, when it's not just colourblock insanity, is as follows: ballet flats or boots over skinny jeans/jeggings/leggings, something undeterminable under a blazer/jacket, accessorized by a scarf, an enormous bag, and long, long hair.

So basically, we all look like the Middleton girls.

The Shame Game

"I've been a bad bad girl ..."

I know, I KNOW. Say it with me now; "My name is FG and I am a bad blogger. I got a new life in a new country with a new job and I stopped blogging. My last serious post was 2 June, 2010." (And now you say, "Hi, FG."

It's not that there haven't been things to tell you about. There was the job. Fashion trends have been observed. There were trips to New York and Boston, San Francisco and Seattle. Various prominent women were embarrassed (or not) by their husbands. Elizabeth Taylor's demise didn't even bring the FG to the page. And there was shopping, of course. And I hear there was a wedding ...?

Give me another chance?
