Further tales of the less than Crocalicious
Warning, in addition to being incredibly unfashionable, Crocs may also be hazardous to the health and well being of those you love! Midwest Medved shared the following story this morning:
The FG, she is close to resting her case vis a vis The Crocs.

You won't even believe this! I was walking up to the coffee place this AM and ran into friends and their daughter who is 5. And the child has a big bandage on her head...so I obviously ask what's going on.
Apparently, while wearing a pair of lime-green Crocs and running, the foot-covering (as you'll agree this is not a /shoe/) came off and she fell forward onto the sidewalk. Got a huge cut, etc, so bad that they went to the ER. Where, get this, they said Crocs are totally unsafe! They get tons of Croc-related twisted ankles, shredded knees, hand and wrist injuries, etc.
Manolo might say: The Crocs they not only kill the soul,but the Crocs they also kill the wearer. The Emergency Room, it is not 'comfortable'.

Today at Whole Foods I saw a Croc Family - mom, dad, and toddler all in (different colored) Crocs. I should have warned the parents about the dangers!

I overheard a woman this weekend explaining the merits of Crocs to her companion. First I shuddered, then I thought of you.

Our family has crocs, we love them. My son threw water on our tiles and tried to slide but could not. Are you sure that person was wearing crocs and not the imitation ones. There is a difference

Okay, let me say that I love CROCS!
They are cute and good on your circulation and now come in adorable ballet style and flip flops. Secondly, I am a teacher and live in a resort town.Many kids wear these cute shoes and I've yet to see one of them fall down because of them. I do want to say, WAKE UP PEOPLE AND USE YOUR COMMON SENSE!
We don't wear clogs to run and play in, we wear tennis shoes!If you are complaining then why put your children, especially small ones, in CROCS or any other clogs to play in?
This seems very realistic to me but maybe not to others!
