I was SO SAD when I read this! (And I wrote my own picture-less post, but I promise I didn't steal the idea from you... I saw one of those "coming up at 11" news promos on TV and they said something about "the West Wing without John Spencer" and I googled it and found out the news. SO SAD!)
I thought that was a little ironic too!!! His character had that sad heart attack in the woods last season, and CJ got to run the West Wing because he was recuperating.
You know you're in a dorky office when you can have a 15-minute convo with your Communications Director about possible plot directions for the West Wing. Who will be VP? CJ? Some to-be-created Senator? Have they already filmed the election episode? If so, could Alan Alda's character miraculously volunteer to be part of a coalition government? If not, will Santos win on pity points?
Picture it, a slightly chilly morning on the African savannah, looking out over the rim of the coulee the sun just peeks out over the horizon, warm, glowing. Through the mist, a silhouette in the distance, just forming, tugs your breath right out of your chest. As it comes into focus, you know it is she. Beautiful, of course. Brilliant, to be sure. Poised, needless to say. And very, very well-dressed. You are in the fabulous girl's world, now.
