Too twee or not too twee?
I bought this jacket, and now I can't decide. It's undeniably cute, but I think it verges on twee. The bottom seems a little big - although perhaps it's meant to /swing/ - but I think if I go down a size, the shoulders will be too small, and I haven't been able to find it in the actual shops to try on the smaller size (yet). Also, I already have a navy cardigan.
Thoughts?

"Twee" is totally new to me, so thank you for that.
This is a non-answer sort of answer, but I think it depends entirely on what you pair with it. Go with a bold oversize print underneath or a piece with a bit of an edge and it's great. Of course, if something doesn't fit you well, it will never feel OR look right.

I agree with BS about what you pair with it. Also, you can get it taken in a little. I don't see twee at all.

It's a little textured - do you think I can wear it with this:

I'm not sure. The ratio of the sleeves to the bottom seems off. I'd have to see it on you to make a call.

Oh boy. The very first thing I did when I read this post was search your blog for that skirt to see if they'd work together.

I think the skirt makes it a fun spring outfit, and echo wendyb's comment about possibly tailoring if necessary.
But it could easily become twee if you overdid the accessories or the shoes. Not that you would!

I have zero to add to the fashion opinion, but I just wanted to say that I LOVE the title of the post.
