Gin ... & Tonic

It's turned into G&T season overnight, but I've hit a little hitch. My new glasses, when filled with half a lime, three ice cubes and 2 oz gin, don't have much more room for the tonic. What to do?

Picture it, a slightly chilly morning on the African savannah, looking out over the rim of the coulee the sun just peeks out over the horizon, warm, glowing. Through the mist, a silhouette in the distance, just forming, tugs your breath right out of your chest. As it comes into focus, you know it is she. Beautiful, of course. Brilliant, to be sure.
