Risky (Meme) Business

The Blue Fairy says:

Electric Grandmother has this posted on her site and it looks like fun.

I would like everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions: no more, no less. Ask me anything you want. Anything! Doesn’t mean I’ll answer them in the way you expect. Then go to your journal, copy and paste this, allowing your friends (including me) to ask you anything.

Among other things, I’m curious how many people read this and it seems like a fun way to find out. Yes, you neo-luddites may ask questions even if you don’t have an online journal.

OK kids, bring it. This could make for an interesting weekend.

  • Or it could make for a completely silent weekend. Ouch.

  • Sorry, your site was not refreshing in my browser. Here goes:

    1) Who do you think is 'The Body'?

    2) What do you fear the most?

    3) Why does Shuesday sometimes occur on Wednesday?

  • Yes, blogger's been having a refresh issue, among others, lately. And yay, thanks for playing along! Nice question sandwich, btw.

    1) Isn't it obvious? Elle is totally The Body.

    2) Curiously, that's the second time I've been asked that in the past 4 days. It must be something about /this stage/ in our lives. I think I fear two things - change and regret. Of course, balancing between the two is the interesting part, right?

    3) Shuesday's occasionally delayed when my fabulous life interferes with my blogging. I'll try not to keep y'all waiting.

  • I also relied on feeds which weren't feeding. Alas, I nearly missed out on some fabulous shoes.

1.What item do you wish you had purchased two of when you had the chance?

    2. May I have your favorite dessert recipe?

    3. If you are trapped on a desert island and can only take one herb/spice for seasoning, what would it be?

  • Three questions:

    1. Which of the five sense would you be most willing to live without?

    2. What are you most proud of?

    3. How does one go about getting taken off notice?

  • Blue Fairy, I'm getting to your questions, I just have to find the dessert recipe.

    Colin:
    1) Can I just pick my Sixth Sense? I guess I'd have to say smell. Which makes me sad to even consider, but I can't really do without the other 4.

    2) I am most proud of the fantastic group of friends I'm so thrilled to have found in the last two years. Can I be proud of my friends? Or does it have to be a personal accomplishment or some kind? I jumped out of an airplane once, but there was a 200 pound guy strapped to my back, so I didn't really /choose/ to jump ...

3)That's a question for camarooned, isn't it? Assuming he'll recognize your existence while you're /on notice/? Perhaps I can serve as an intermediary?

Clearly when people ask me questions, they get questions in return.

  • Alas... someday I'll learn the answer to my persistent questions.

  • I am a bad, bad meme-stress.

    1) I'm having a hard time with this one. I'm actually pretty good about doubling up on things when I know I'm going to like them - shoes and sweaters come to mind. I do regret not buying a bottle (2,3) of Donna Karan's Chaos perfume when it was available, because it was discontinued in 1998.

    2) You may have my favourite dessert recipe - it was a hard decision, but I managed to narrow it down to two - I've made them at home and they're seasonal - Pumpkin Creme Caramel and Bread Pudding. See my 9/10 blog entry for the recipes - too long for the comments section.

    3) Only one spice? I'd have to go with pepper. Can't live without it, so evocative of everything.

  • Ah. It was worth the wait. The desserts look fabulous.
