I understand naming things after women - shoes, pieces of jewelry, wedding dresses, even hats and fascinators.

But really, there's no reason to name a fascinator after Ophelia. Not exactly a role model of wedded bliss.

Although I'm sure it would look lovely floating after you down river ...
