that really was an awesome post of Mad's. i was a bit confused to see it here again without anything in front explaining that it was hers.
glad to see the link...she's a librarian and probably would be grateful for full citation. :)

I know Mad got mad (ha) traffic on her own site when she first wrote this.
It's brilliant, don't you think?
By Hannah, at 9:40 AM
More than brilliant, imho. And I'm open to suggestions for improved citation - this is in keeping with my usual style, but perhaps it's too subtle in this instance?
By fabulous girl, at 1:25 PM
I thought this was brilliant too...and funny.
I think the citation should be an actual full citation providing proper credit and not just a link that is a bit ambiguous (i.e. you do not provide any props or context to the link).
Also, ideally, it (the citation) should be provided at the beginning of the post rather than the end. I know this may not follow any style guide but it would clear up any confusion and avoid anyone NOT being conveyed this info.
Just a thought as you did pose the question.
Again MAD props to Mad!

Hi:
It's me, Mad.
I am so pleased you enjoyed my P&P adaptation. Thank you. And thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for it.
I must admit, though, I was a little taken aback to find at least 3/4 of my post here on your site rather than having you direct people to my site to read it there. In general, the copyright rule of thumb is to quote no more than 10% of a work.
As far as citation goes, WordNerd makes some excellent suggestions. I would also recommend that in future, you use the dedicated url to a post to link back to it rather than a resolver link through a third party's BigTweet account. The way your post is set up, it's almost impossible to detect that these are my words. The dedicated url for the P&P post is:
http://madhattermommy.blogspot.com/2009/05/pride-and-twitterverse.html
If you are looking for an example of good citation netiquette, you can check out how this blog approached linking to the same post:

Once again, I would like to thank you for your enthusiasm for my writing.

My apologies. Points taken, changes made.
