Wardrobe's Holy Grail
While we'd all like to walk around in comfort and style 24/7, it's simply not possible - without making a significant compromise like head to toe black at all times (and we're not prepared to go there ... yet).
The Sartorialist found someone who's making it happen ... except for the shoes. It's not about flip flops per se, they just don't work for me in this instance, and they're messing with the line of the jeans.

I'm with you. But what would you suggest to replace the flip flops? Tod's loafers would fit the comfort criteria, but still mess up the line of the jeans. And I want something more feminine to balance the blazer...pointy toe suede flats with a little stacked heel? In some fun color like leaf green.

Excellent suggestion, bs! And I saw adorable shoes just like that on a woman here on the weekend - almost went over to ask her where she found them. Perhaps the solution is to have the jeans hemmed, just a little bit?
