Hey now, Crocs are super cool. They are waterproof (West Coast feature); they are easy to get on and off (think shopping days); they are super cozy (good for gardening and camping); they are incredibly light (backpacking bonus); and they actually have great traction (you can hike or walk off climbs in these babies).
I think the only knock against them is that they are petroleum-based shoes with a short lifespan. Oh right, that's why I don't own any. I would burn through them in about three weeks.
Then again, I would burn through most of your shuesday features in less time. Those heels would be my downfall, literally.
Super cool they are NOT, I'm sorry. They give you garden gnome feet. I can theoretically see owning a pair for the cottage/beach house, but I don't think they provide much support. And then there's the whole petroleum issue.
Would love to see you in heels, especially while performing The Smiths at karaoke. Perhaps you should start a practical Shuesday feature on your blog ...
Picture it, a slightly chilly morning on the African savannah, looking out over the rim of the coulee the sun just peeks out over the horizon, warm, glowing. Through the mist, a silhouette in the distance, just forming, tugs your breath right out of your chest. As it comes into focus, you know it is she. Beautiful, of course. Brilliant, to be sure. Poised, needless to say. And very, very well-dressed. You are in the fabulous girl's world, now.
